Personal training is my longest-standing and most established skill set — it has been the foundation from which I have developed and refined many of my other professional abilities. It is also the reason I am so passionate about working in this field. I have a genuine love for helping people and a commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.
I strive to remain relevant and informed, keeping up to date with the latest industry knowledge and best practices. This dedication has led me to achieve Master Trainer status, with recognised mastery in three specialist areas:
Qualifications
Level 4 – Obesity & Weight Management
I have extensive skills, knowledge, and experience in supporting clients affected by obesity to better manage their condition and improve their overall health. My approach focuses on creating sustainable changes that lead to lasting positive results.
Level 4 – Lower Back Pain Management
Lower back pain is one of the most common complaints caused by our modern lifestyles and working habits. I have developed advanced expertise in helping individuals manage and reduce their discomfort through carefully tailored physical activity programmes.
Level 4 – Nutrition for Athletic Performance and Weight Management
Whether you are a casual gym-goer, a competitive athlete, or simply seeking to optimise your health, nutrition plays a fundamental role in performance and well-being. I have in-depth knowledge of specialist diets, individual dietary requirements, and the legislation surrounding nutritional information. This allows me to offer advice that is both scientifically sound and tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Whether in-person or online, each option is designed to deliver exceptional, professional guidance in a manner that integrates seamlessly into your lifestyle. The purpose remains the same: to equip you with the expertise, structure, and support needed to achieve meaningful, lasting results.
One-to-One Sessions
In-person personal training offers a truly bespoke approach to fitness, where every aspect of your programme is tailored to your individual objectives, abilities, and preferences. Working directly with an expert ensures your technique is refined, minimising risk of injury while optimising performance. This one-on-one format fosters accountability, motivation, and a consistent commitment to progress—whether your focus is building strength, improving mobility, managing weight, or enhancing overall health. The value lies not only in the workouts themselves but in the ongoing, adaptive adjustments that keep you moving toward your goals with precision and confidence.
Remote Sessions
Remote personal training blends the flexibility of training anywhere with the same expert guidance you would receive in person. Through structured virtual sessions and tailored fitness plans, you can progress without the limitations of travel time, gym schedules, or location. This approach is ideal for those with demanding timetables, frequent travel, or a preference for training in their own space. You will still benefit from personalised programming, detailed progress tracking, and real-time feedback—supported by resources such as video demonstrations and open lines of communication. The result is a training experience that remains both highly adaptable and relentlessly effective, ensuring you stay consistent, accountable, and fully engaged in your journey.
Process
Stage 1 – Introductions
We begin with a brief introduction, allowing you to understand who I am, my professional background, and the scope of the services I provide. At this stage, we will arrange an initial consultation and reserve a suitable date in the diary.
Stage 2 – Consultation
This is our opportunity to connect on a deeper level and establish the foundation of our work together. During the consultation, I will outline the process in detail, address any questions or concerns, and gain a clear understanding of your objectives. We will explore your goals, expectations, motivation, timelines, medical history, fitness background, lifestyle, nutritional habits, and any barriers to exercise. In person, we can also identify specific considerations that may require tailored strategies before beginning your programme.
Stage 3 – Post-Consultation
Following our meeting, I will follow up to address any further questions and provide essential documentation for your review, understanding, and signature:
• Informed Consent
• PT/Client Agreement
• Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire
These documents must be completed in full before commencing any form of physical training.
Stage 4 – Assessments & Baseline Testing
We will then conduct a series of structured assessments to identify movement patterns, potential limitations, or areas requiring special focus. The results will establish your Key Fitness Indicators (KFIs), offering a clear performance baseline. These benchmarks will serve as reference points for measuring progress and refining your programme over time.
Stage 5 – Programme Setup & Resources
Once all preliminary steps are complete, you will receive access to tailored digital tools and resources to support your journey both inside and outside of our sessions:
• MyFitnessPal – to track and manage your nutritional intake
• PT Hub – to organise, monitor, and review your training programme remotely
